AMAZING place for a private dinner event! From the start the team were so communicative, hospitable and welcoming. I booked the private room at the back for a friends hens night and could not be happier with this place.
The service was incredible, the room and tables were designed with beautiful flowers and candles, and the banquet food was outstanding. All dietary requirements were catered for as requested. This was excellent value for money compared to anything else in Sydney. The team let us arrive early to set up and helped clean up at the end.
So glad I found this place and highly recommend it for private functions. All the guests raved about the experience so thank you so much for making our night so special!!!"

I am very pleased to say that Blackbird exceeded expectations in every way! We've enjoyed being regulars to your cafe since moving to Alexandria 18 months ago, but the food on Saturday night was the best yet we've experienced.
We really enjoyed the variety of getting to try some new menu items (all of which we'd love to see on the usual menu!) & all of our guests were amazed at the quality of food for "our local". As to the new pork dish, all guests rated it highly.
We think your function package represents excellent value for money, and the service was the right balance of friendly and professional, as always. We will very happily consider Blackbird for our next function.

"60th Birthday Dinner Party
To celebrate my 60th birthday I chose the Blackbird & Co Café in Mitchell Road Erskineville. It has a perfect space for the 30 or so friends and relatives that I wanted to invite.The tables looked great and the food was delicious and abundant, something all the guests commented on. It was so well organised, everything went like clockwork and staff were very professional.
To top it off it was great value for money.
This great venue really made the evening for me and I would readily recommend it.

“Excellent venue for large group parties and everyday hangout
A few months back - we held a birthday party for our son with a crowd of 35 people. Blackbird gave us a private room allowing to do our own decoration at minimal cost. Drinks and food were great given that all food came out in a timely order!!! Every guest found her meal being tasty. The store owner and the store manager were extremely helpful in assisting us with the event organisation as well. Such a nice place for every occasion!!!”
